I bought some new make-up at my new found (and loved!) Dutch make-up webshop Boozyshop.
She ships very very fast! And is very friendly:)

This time I bought the most amazing purple nailpolish but also lipsticks.

Mostly for photography again. Yes the little i-want-to-take-photographs-bug is finally back!

But I figured I got make swatches to show you the colors:)

My normal lips. Nothing on just plain skin. (in real life it looks darker, but also the color of the lipsticks seemed brighter/ darker in real life)

I totally forgot to make my January stats last month!
So I combined them into this one.

Both about 10 less as 2009. I blame the fact I am hardly online/ promoting my etsy shop and don't have any time to make (and list) new items. And I put a notice of "only shipping on the weekends" in my shop because I couldn't handle it anymore to ship the other day.

I also notice my absence in my shophearts. I will try to find the time (and energy) to be more active.

I want new glasses.

I know I only have these two pair for little over half a year now. (And those before these for about 5 to 7 years) But somehow these aren't *it*
First of all my nose has got a red spot wear the nosepart is. And there are some other points...

But I like pairs like this one (photo above) I just have a hard time finding them in the stores here. And even if I find them will they suit me?

Still a big change I use to have "hardly noticable" glasses and suddenly I am longing for a big bold pair O.o

Since this blog is become more personal I thought I could also share this with you.
I ordered a bit of make-up again:) I was looking for a blueish purple nailpolish for a while now and I found it at Boozyshop (Dutch webshop for make-up and such) I also had my eye on the INTENSE set of nailpolish. Love the neon colors! (except for the orange one:') I don't like orange) And she has a new brand in her shop: Arissa. They have baked eye-shadows like this gorgeous purple one (Outerspace)
Because I had to wait for my order for 2 days she added a free lipgloss and the red nailpolish. Such a sweetie!

Yesterday I went shopping with my mum and although I had a huge list in my mind what to buy this is all I came home with.
This year I made myself the promiss to take better care of my looks/ skin/ outside. And that I won't buy only cheap stuff;) but just good things. And although going from a 2 euro cream to a 13 euro one is a step I saw even more expensive ones (30/45 euro) that is just a to big of step to take just now;)

So what did I buy? Well all new things! (for me that is) I never bought anything at The Bodyshop before because I just find them expensive. (my normal bodybutter is 3 euro theirs is 15 euro)
But still...

* A new bigger eyeshadow brush from Sephora (I have a HEMA one now but the hairs are getting loose... And my other Sephora brushes are briliant so I bought this one)
* A two-in-one smokey eye brush (see! purple hairs!!:D I wanted a angle brush and this blender/ angle one was cheaper as a angle and blender brush seperate)
* Yes to Carrots nightcream. My normal night cream wasn't right for my skin and I heard good things about this one:)
At The Body Shop
* Vitamine E eye cream (I notice my eyes are getting tired and puffy from all the days behind a computer, and I am getting older:P)
* Elderflower unperfumed Eye Gel (to pep up my eyes after a long workday)
* A small size body scrub Cherries ^_^
* A small size body butter Japanese Cherry Blossom (love the smell!!)

You all know I am looking for my own place (again) for over a year already. The urge to find it soon gets bigger and bigger. Which comes to a showing in me searching online for lovely goodies to fill it. Like art, glasses, soap dishes (saw a gorgeous one at Zara Home), furniture.

Of course I am also looking around on Etsy a lot (mostly art since other things might be a little to pricy (or just plain impossible) to ship) And this lovely seller sells art (prints) but also Laptop stickers!! How gorgeous! If I can't find a home with several rooms but more a studio this might be perfect for my laptop to make it better to look at;)

This time I want to show you another EST (European Street Team) member who's work I LOVE! Next to the ceramics of Artmind I most certain want to buy (several) artwork/ prints from the talented Matilou.

Matilou is a France Illustrator who has got her own little shop/ atelier since little over a year. She makes the most wonderful (and sweet) illustrations. She also makes jewelry with her artwork. And pocketmirrors and postcards... Although most of the art in her Etsy shop is in the same style she has several styles of illustrating. (But I love the style in her Etsy shop the most)

When I get my own place I want to make a wall of Art. (not mine) Not sure where I want it: livingspace or workroom or somewhere else. But I want to buy a lot of artwork/ prints/ photographs on Etsy and hang them all together on just one wall. Like one big focalpoint and inspiration wall.

New Pendants

I have been busy making new pendants:)
two (the greengrey one and brown one in the front) are matte and not varnished. And the others are all varnished. They all have a soft color. New for me... And all colors (not the black) are selfmixed.

They will be listed in my Etsy shop in the next two to three weeks :)

Knitting part 2

This is how far I am now with my thick xl scarf ^_^ I am almost at the half of the wool I bought. But I am not sure I need all 10 balls of wool ;)

So far I am loving my new scarf. The little loose end at the left is a new ball thread still need to hide those. Not bad for the first time knitting in 17 years right ;)

Still haven't lost a stitch *knock on wood* And I am looking foward to getting new wool so I can other ones!

It has been a while since I bought new sneakers. I tend to buy boots and pumps these last 2 years. But when I saw these Creative Recreation sneakers (on sale!! from 160 to 50 euro) I just had to have them... :$
They have a peacock pattern! I love peacock patterns/ feathers/ colors!

H&M

Most of you know I love shopping. And clothes. And online shopping.
That all combined resulted in a (big) order from the spring collection from H&M. Since in the Netherlands we can order online from them...
And I wanted to share it with you.

I have several of their dresses with this model/ shape. I love them. They fit me and my bodytype perfectly! I just hope thise pale green (mint) doesn't make my skin sickpale. If I wear beige, pale yellow, pale orange and such I look sick.

I LOVE this dress!! I hope it will fit me, and won't be to short to wear comfortly.

I love cardigans like this! I already have a batic one (grey, white, coral), Purple, mauve and brown one :')

Of course a tunic top;) I love tunics. With the same gorgeous print as the dress

Basic grey top :) perfect with a long necklace or a scarf (I have a scarf tic, well with clothes I have a tic of everything;))

I hope this one will also suit my skincolor! But I love it so much! it is so girly and fun and sweet and just typical me :)

Knitting like a mad man

Knitting...

Last time I did that I was still a little child. So it was about 16/17 years ago (my... I feel old now :') ) I was a great multiplier. I started out with 10 stitches and ended up with 50... I am not one to let stitches slip away no I made more allong the way.

I never touched knittingneedles in the meanwhile. I like knitting (as the items;) ) but never saw myself doing it.

Until I was on the search for a scarf. I wanted a soft, fluffy, warm, (dark) grey funkyknitted (but not to chunky) scarf. I didn't find it in the shops. And I didn't find the perfect one on Etsy either. One that came close was a bit too expensive for me...

And one of my friends was making her second scarf. (she is inspired by Yookoo) She inspired two others to also start knitting... And suddenly I thought: why shouldn't I give it a go? I can't find what I am looking for so why not make it myself.

First I went to look in a local woolshop. But they didn't have much choice. And soo expensive O.o They were also a bit unfriendly:( So I thought I must find it online.
Which I did :) I ordered big needles (10mm, and I also want 12 or 15) And felt wool. This is pure (100%) scheerwol/ virgin wool and fluffy. If you are finished knitting you can wash it and then it felts. (and gets 30-40% smaller) It is mostly used for slippers and hats. I won't wash it.

And although I was looking for grey I couldn't resist the grey mixed one. Grey (blueish) with magenta and sand. I saw even more great colors and wool... But I only ordered this one. To check out if I like it;) (I know myself I always buy a lot for a new craft and never use it...)

Mum had to help me setting up the stitches. (never learned that as a child) she showed me 4 times and there I went! Setting them up myself. And after that started knitting. Just a basic straight stitch. Above it is!

I love knitting:) I love the fact I can do it downstairs in a warmer room;) while watching tv and such. Can't do that (at the moment) with the jewelry.

Once my scarf is finished I want to knit one for my mum and make two more for myself. One in a funky wool I saw (it is very thin and very thick. It is a mixed thread and very funky) and this same wool in another color (or even more;))

* Still getting slowly beter (healthwise) with Acupuncture

Livingroom wishes

I loved making that wallpaper post so I thought maybe I should make more inspiration posts like that. Here are my wishes for the livingroom! First of all the Ghost Chair by Phillipe Starck! (the chair above) I love this one, and it sits really great! I have been wanting this chair for years now and I guess this is my only wish for the livingroom that might happen. Since I am most likely to find a (very) small apartment.
I would be very happy if next to a small 2persons (white) sofa and the ghost chair there would be room for a velvet oldfashioned (baroque) chair like this! (but I doubt it ;)) Or even room for a chair like this!

I love lamps like this! But they take up so much space!! So I am pretty sure this is also a wish for my second (or maybe third) place someday...

An (extra) closet (not the correct word) like this would also be great! But I think that next to the buffet I have I will have to do with shelves...

I would also Love a Tord Boontje light!
And other design stuff. And Etsy items! (like Artmind's ceramics!) and Art...
Sigh... so much... ;)

December Stats and 2009/2010

First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! Hope 2010 brings you all lots of happiness and good luck! And may all your wishes come true!

The only wish for me which I hope comes true is finding my own place. Of course I have more wishes but that one is most important to come true in 2010. The rest can wait ;)

Ok first my December stats:
December has been a great month! Yeah! :D Unfortunately I didn't make 2 new milestones but I am sure that will happen in January! ;)

* Sales in my Etsy shop: 35 and 1 in my Vintage shop
* Shophearts: 1494

So that makes my total sales: 395 (just 5 short of making it to 400. Bare in mind my salesgoal for 2009 was 350. So I easily made that;))
And my total shophearts: 1494. (just 6 short of 1500. See what I mean? But 5 sales and 6 shophearts must be easy to achive in January right?!)
This means I made about 220 sales in 2009! Which is more as 2007 and 2008 combined;)
Of course I still want to increase this!

MY GOALS FOR 2010 (etsy wise)
* Making it to 700 sales in total. (just in my http://BNdesign.etsy.com shop) Which means 305 sales... 85 more as this year. I hope I make it!
* Getting 2000 shophearts! So 506 more... Should be in reach I hope...

I asume everybody already knows about the very talented Misty aka Artmind. If you don't, shame on you! ;) No just kidding, but you really must check out her fantastic Etsy shop (click her name to go there)

She makes the most wonderful (mini)feelings and ander wonderful ceramic work. I have my eye on several of her items! But I try to restrain myself from buying anything just yet. Well already for a year now;)

I don't have the space to display it right now but once I have my own place I am sure to buy at least the babuska magnets and one mini-feeling. But I kinda know already it probably won't stay with just 2 items.
So everybody fingers crossed I will have my own place soon so I can finally buy some of Misty's wonderful art!

Some of you know I am looking for my own place. Already for a year now. And although it seems it will still take 2 more years to get one I am feeling the urge to think about decorating. Although I have no idea what the place I will get will look like :)

This post already contains LOADS of pictures. Sorry for that...
But this is just the wallpapers I love from the brand Eijffinger. These are all new collections... I love them so much!

Since I will probably get a small place (around 30-40m2 in total) I want to decorate it in light neutral colors. Whites.

If I am luckily enough to get a place with a separate bedroom that is... Since a lot of small apartments are studios. So one (big) room. But still I want to create (with roomdividers and wardrobes/ cabinets) certain spaces (living, sleeping, working)

At first I figured I would also want the walls to be white. But I guessed one wall in a (greyish) color would be beter... So maybe I will just paint one wall.

It all depends on the place really. But I do LOVE these wallpapers so much. Yes they are expensive. But I would only want them for a flocal wall. And the others plain white paint (= cheap:P) so that levels it out ;)

This orchid would be so beautiful behind my bed (which is white) And my wardrobe is dark with black/ smokey glass doors... It would fit so great together! Unless it is a very dark room...

So pretty! Maybe just a little too busy?

This would also be great for the living/workspace! White but with a shiny pattern to give it a bit extra!

Or that one on the left! I LOVE it!

This would be for a posible bedroom...

Ideas

I have so many new ideas again! :)

Love this creative boost. I will all delay them (well listing) till the new year. But that is only little over a week away so it is not as worse as it sounds.

My plans:

Make butterfly necklaces with gold/ copper chains besides the silverplated ones I have now.
Make new butterflies! (already working on that, new big ones are coming!)
Make new polymer ones. Have all sorts of new colorcombination ideas!
I ordered some molds so I will make "shaped" pendants as well
Also make more and new bird necklaces
Of course make more stock and new designs in the way I have been making them already ;)
Find out new ideas next to butterflies and birds ;) have some ideas already ^_^
Work more with gemstones/ pearls
Make christmas ornaments

So lots of new ideas:D
My new goals will be announced later

Sunday Christmas Market

Last sunday, the 13th, there was a big craftfair in Amsterdam, in the lovely Westergasfabriek to be precise!
I am sorry I don't have photo's for all of you :$

But it was fun! I met up with a friend who would help me (and what a great help she was!! I will take her with me with all my fairs from now on! :D) And we had a great time.
We found our booth and started dressing it. We were (luckily!) finished before time.
I also met up with Marta and Swee who had a booth in the back, their booth was colorful! (i loved it!!) and they are just as friendly and fun in real life as on twitter/etsy ;) :D Was great meeting you girls!!

Luckily the fair became busy with crowds of people right from the start! Within 15 minutes I had my first sale (and with 2 or 3 hours I had made my quite hefty boothfair) ^_^ (and the sales kept coming)
It is so strange though. Some fairs the polymer necklaces/ pendants sell like crazy. Last market I didn't sell one (but last one was bit of a failure:( ) but this time they sold again! Even sold 3 at once to an American lady who make jewelry with leather who was looking (for some time) for nice focalpoints. And she found them in my pendants! :D
She bought three to make into christmas presents, and promissed me a photo. :)
I told her I do customs (and wholesale) so she could always contact me for more;)

After a while there was a familar looking guy standing in front of my booth. Soon I remembered who her was! He was the BF of Marlous! After a while Marlous herself stopped by. They had an outside booth. (Inside was already COLD! let alone the outside!) So I felt sorry for them!

When the fair was over we were cold and exhausted! We were both so tired! We packed up and I dropped her off and went home.
It took me till today to finally get back to normal (sleepywise, on monday I felt asleep at 8pm)

Pfew... Finally able to catch up with everything! I was just too busy (and beat) to make blogposts and work on my items... But now I have a whole weekend to make posts and plan them in;)

Some of you know I have been doubting and doubting and wanting a watch for 2 years now...
It is a expensive one, well at least for me. And since it is a very popular model it was hardly ever discounted. I found it with a discount of 10% but that was still very expensive.

And then... I found it... In stock (some shops had a waitingtime of 17(!) weeks) with a HUGE discount! (-180 euro)

As I figured I would never ever find it that cheap again I went ahead and bought it :)

And here it is!:

A Breil Milano. It needs a extra hole in the wristband, a stingray leather one, since my tiny wrists;) But that will be fine... :) I love it! I keep staring at it :D

And I also been wanting a CK watch. But we sell CK at work so I bought it there (with a staffdiscount:)) That is this one.

I never bought a new watch in 7 years... And suddenly I buy 2 (expensive ones) within a few months... O.o But these will last me a lifetime :)

Bio Oil

Something different today to blog about. Because I will blog about Bio Oil. I guess everybody knows about the *wonderoil* that might work magic to your skin, scars and such.

Because everybody was so positive I decided to give it a try and bought it. You will have to apply it 2 times a day for at least two months. And I knew right away that might be a problem. I start things very strict but after a while I go sloppy... So 2 times a day for 3 months; I won't make that. And I was right ;) But the good news is you can see it work after a week already! My little scars went lighter and some already were gone already! These were all tiny scars though about 5mm max. (but my little scars tend to get dark/ red... and since I am very very pale that isn't a pretty sight.

After about 3 weeks I stopped using it. But yesterday I started using it again (on a little scar on my cheek... Yeah for pimpels:P) and on something they don't tell as a use....

My heels are very dry and I can scrape off eelt (don't know the english word, that thick old skin) with a footscraper. But also my heels are very dry and have groves in them (I love to walk barefoot;) even outside)) and although you mostly care about things like this in summertime when wearing slippers I already felt the need to do something about it. So I rubbed my heels with 3 to 4 drops of Bio Oil in the morning (and put on cotton socks) I didn't repeat this in the evening! And this morning my heels were already softer and the groves less hard and deep O.o So I rubbed them in again this morning. Very curious now if it will get them totally gone.

And yes I really used about 3 drops per foot. So your feet isn't greasy...

I thought I should share this :)

Custom Stamp

Look!!! This arrived at my doorstep this week! I ordered a custom stamp for packaging from myrubberstamp on Etsy. She has the most amazing stamps which will be custommade for you.

Since I love matryoshka's I went for this cutie and have my shopname above (BNdesign) and my etsyshop url on the bottom. It is also a big stamp! over 5 cm in diameter. I will use it on giftboxes and giftbags. And maybe even on tags :)
I ordered black, pink (magenta) and silver ink so everything will be matching :)

So happy with it.

Yesterday when I was browsing around on internet I visit a forum I visit almost everyday. It is a Dutch forum where you can just ask questions. Some are funny, some serious. And there was this girl who asked your favorite clothing brand. (she always ask questions like this for her study) and I replied with Vila, Object, Vanilia, Oasis..

Which reminded me I didn't visit the Oasis webshop for some time now. And sillysilly me went there... And I saw this amazing coat! Yes this one pictured here:) It is navyblue btw! But I already bought a new wintercoat this year! (also a cheap one;)) which is great!
I really needed a new one since my old one (wore it 5 years) was finally dieing...

But this one oh what a beauty! I slept on it and still didn't know.. I want it, it was already cheap and now on sale!, it is a gorgeous design... But still do I need it?! (no not really...)

But I did buy it ;)
Just hope when it arrives it will fit and suit me!

Although I hardly work with them I have a huge collection fresh water pearls, gemstones and such. I always found it a shame to use them...

Till last week! Since I have them I can better use them;) If something doesn't sell I can always take it apart and make something else with it right?! :) So when my new supplies got in I went and tried to find some lovely combinations of material.
One of the outcomes was this beauty which I called Baroque Peacock. See this gorgeous lip shell pendant! It has a carved baroque pattern! I love it! The peacock comes from the fresh water pearls I used. There are two sizes but both are peacock colored.

I am also thinking about the color of the boxes to send them out in..
Silver with magenta (my favorite)
Silver with purple
or silver with blue...
In the poll I held on Twitter 95% choose silver with magenta;) So I guess that is the combination I will go for:)

New Items

I have a new sort of item in my shop! Well not totally new... Because I already had pinback buttons in my shop. But since yesterday I am adding buttonsets to my shop.

All the sets will consist of three 1 inch buttons, all different sets! And the three little buttons will come in a little organza bag in a matching color:) The first sets in my shop are all Retro! :) (A set is $ 4,50 btw!) But there will also be sweet vintage birds and flowers... But those are all still for the future!

I am also thinking of making sets like this but as magnets and not buttons. We will see :)

Some time ago I won the chocolate give-away from the sweet Dina Fragola! And it arrived. A big envelope stuffed with goodies! The zero chocolate which is delicious!! Too bad they don't sell it overhere :(

September started bad.. Really bad. But luckily the last week I got some sales so it was still an okay month. But I do hope it will get better!

New bracelet design

When I started making jewelry, now about 3 or 4 years ago. I made charm bracelets. And I actually still love charmbracelets. But I wanted a new design not the standard type which I made back then.

So the other day a new design popped up in my mind and here is the first finished one! The bracelet closes with a toggle and has 3 rows of chain. There is a loose ring that goes over the 3 rows of chain and on this ring the beads/ charms are attached (and they can move freely on this ring) All these will be one of a kind:) But I will make different colors and combinations.

They are $ 20,- (between 13 and 15 euro) and this pink one, Pink Love, is already available in my Etsy shop :)
If they do become best-sellers which I hope they will, I will think about making them in sterling silver and gemstones as well.

Preparing for the Craftfair

Since I will be having a indoor booth I will be VERY limited on my space. Just 2m... While I already have too little space with a 4m booth ;)
So I have to think of a new handy display, which also takes me less time to set up and suddenly I knew what to do! I already had these prikbord/ curkboard (?) displays from last craftfair. I decided to paint them white and the edge black. It took me 2 coats of white paint to get it white.

When they were drying I sorted through my pendants to devide them into listed and not-yet-listed. The listed ones are now (almost all) pinned on the two boards.

There is also a vertical one but I will display other items on that one. I still want to buy 2 more (and paint those) to lay down on the table and put all the not-yet-listed/ new ones on there... 1) easy to know after the fair if I should remove some from my Etsy shop and which ones I will have to list ;)

I have them this way without any form of necklace so people can choose.
Step 1: choose your pendant
Step 2: decide if you want a choker, ball chain, ribbon (2 colors per pendant) or suede ribbon to hang it from

This way saves me all the room for the ribbons/ chains/ chokers :) And just a pick-up and go. Not a lay out 100 necklaces type of display like I had before.

I just hope the space is well lighted so people can see the colors of all the pendants!

Christmas give aways

Do you remember the little Triny (cell phone) charms I made about a year ago? Well they didn't really sell... Like at all, but people do like them a lot. Because the making is very cheap they make lovely little give-aways or little thank you's.

Although I tend to run out of my normal ones I decided I wanted to make special ones to give away with orders in my Etsy shop around this time of year. So I bought some doublesided paper (I don't like scrapbooking but I do love the papers!! :D) with a christmas theme. And some more for my double sided butterfly necklaces ;)

And I cut some of the paper in little squares from 3 x 3 cm. After that I cut those little squares in the Triny shape. Which kinda is a lot of work... So I after a while I thought "why not cut circles with my circlecutter?" So I also made circles.

And I made some cute little faces as well :) Stuck them on the shapes, sealed them. Ordered some silver metallic lariats! and punched little holes.

When the silver metallic lariats arrived I attached them and tadaa!! They are finished:D

Here I am only showing a few. And I am still in all fases of the making (have paper, cutted paper, ones waiting for sealin, sealed ones ready to be cut out again...)

Ready for Christmas...

Well at least my giftbags are ready for December :) For the Dutch/ Belgian readers yes I even have Sinterklaas giftbags ;) I have two types of Sinterklaas, two types of Christmas. It is too bad this photo doesn't really show the cuteness of the black one... And silver (my normal kind) and gold bags.
I also have some black ones still left and butterfly ones... Use those two on craftfairs.

And I have a stock of colored ribbon since I try to match the color of the ribbon with the item in the little bag.

But as you can see I am fully ready for Christmas shopping to begin. Maybe I should already make an announcement on my Etsy shop.

The thing I do want to share without any pictures is that I will be at another craft fair again! :) In Amsterdam, The Netherlands on sunday october the 4th. At the Westergasfabriek from 12 to 6. :) The Sunday Market. I will have a booth inside! ;) I don't trust the weather anymore in the beginning of October. Since that weather of the market in Tilburg last year! brrr... Rain, wind, cold! brr...

Listing again!

Since I started working full-time again I hardly have any energy left when I get back home in the evening. Let alone it is already getting dark again early so not perfect for taking pictures.
Also my weekends have been busy! But today when I got home after a shopping day with my mum I finally picked up my camera again and took some photo's of new items. Well the items aren't that new, but they haven't been listed yet!

I have been relisting and renewing items a lot but I really needed to also put in new items in my shop. So tonight I edited photo's for 2 items and listed them.

One of them is pictured here, Golden Glow, another one of a kind polymer necklace! I also listed 'Oriental' a black with golden one with oriental caracters imprinted.
There are three more to come and three new butterflies as well!!

I will also try to blog more! I know I know I keep on saying this but I will really try this time;)

August Stats

Luckily July was just the only month being that bad and August has been back on track! I must say I have been featured in a Etsy findings! So that surely helped a lot. But still August has been good, and I do hope this promisses something for the christmas shopping!

First the stats for August:

So a total of 26 sales ^_^

* Shophearts: 1344 which is 130(!) more as last month :) I got the most hearts around the time the Etsy Findings came out ;) (so did I get the most sales this month around that time)

* And I have reached my salesgoal of the year! I am over the 300 sales (on Etsy) Now my new goal is to double the sales in total I had in the previous years. (about 170/175, so getting up to 350 this year) that should be easy to reach i hope

Yes! I have reached it. I have reached my year goal of

300 sales!! (on etsy that is;))

I am already over it that is. Which means in 1 year I sold more items as in the 2 years before that combined. I feel proud:D

Custom Order

This week I finished (and sold) a custom order. I love doing custom order because you get even more interaction with your customer.

In this case I made a custom butterfly necklace. With a butterfly that normally isn't in my "collection" of butterflies. A lovely Monarch butterfly. A well known butterfly with it's orange and black color.

It is on its way to my customer at the moment, and it will be a gift for her daughter. I so hope she will love it!

Since I have never done a give-away before, well at least not at my own blog;) I thought the time was there to do so!

Yes you are reading it correctly! 25 usd to spend at will in my Etsy shop! So you can choose multiple items to reach the 25 usd or choose one more expensive item and get a 25 usd discount! July Stats

July was a very very slow month.. my worst selling month this year! I blame the holidays and it being summer;) Well... At least I hope that is the reason and not that everybody hates my items all of the sudden.

First the stats for July:

Sales in my Etsy shop: only 3 :( (I also made a custom necklace for my bf to give as a birthdaygift to a friend, but he hasn't paid me yet so that one isn't counted)

Sales in my vintage Etsy shop: none :(
So a total of just 3 sales. Even worse as May...
Shophearts: 1214 which is 33 more as last month :) Nothing to major but still a increase:)

I do hope however that July is just the worst month this year and the figures will go back to normal again;)

There will be new butterflies, rings, earrings and necklaces in my shop this month. And I am thinking of doing a give-away... But you will get more info about that later:)

New job

Some of you might already know this. The ones that follow me on Twitter that is ;)

I have a new job! :) A new full-time job that combines my current work with my own "thing"

My current, well actually former since last Monday was my last day, job is at a jeweler. Placing the orders and sell the jewelry and watches in the shop.
My own "thing" is creating jewerly, photographing, Etsy, selling online and such...

My new job is at a jeweler, but one closer to my home (I trade in 30+ km for a 8-10 km journey;)) At their webshop! I will be taking photo's of the jewelry and watches. Well if the photographs supplied by the brands aren't good enough. List the whole collection(!) of the brands. Packages all orders and send them out. Order items that are sold (out) and that full-time. Currently I have a part-time job... Which is great, since I have time for creating new items and listing them but I need the money of the full-time job.

So in a while I can start looking again for my own place. I couldn´t afford one with my parttime job... Really looking foward to having my own place again!

It also means that I won´t be online so much again. And that I don´t have as much time for my Etsy (and Zibbet) as I would like. And that orders might take a day longer to be shipped. But all for a good cause! :D

New items

Sorry for the huge photo's this time!

I just love creating and adding new items in my shop. I love to make one of a kind items. Although I most say limited editions are much easier and less time consuming! ;)

But I also love the uniqueness of an one of a kind piece so that is why I keep making them.

At the moment I am busy making new rings. Fabric rings and polymer ones.

Like this cute little floral one. It is a limited one (only 11 are made) and very romantic and trendy. Since florals and flowers are THE trend right now ;) You will find this one. Like the others in my Etsy shop

This one I love because of the bright colors. These are one of a kind because the fabric had a big pattern so none is alike. With this fabric I made 7 rings.

And of course another polymer one:) These are all one of a kind, just like the earrings and necklaces.

All three of the rings are already in my Etsy shop:)

New item/ design

Finally...

After thinking it would be a good idea I made rings (and earrings) in the same style as my necklaces.

And today I listed the first (and so far only) ring in my Etsy shop! The earrings were already listed.

I love the little ring so I am sure I will make more. But like the necklaces/ pendants. The earrings and rings are all one of a kind

June Stats

July is already 2 days old, but since I was without internet for a couple of days my June stats are here with some delay ;)

Because of the lack of internet you also might have missed my other blogposts. There will be new ones soon.

First of the figures for the month June.

Sales in my Etsy shop: 21 (there are some sales that went by email because they didn't want to order through Etsy, I did count those in here)
Sales in my vintage Etsy shop: 2
So a total of 23 sales. Not major but back to the "normal" figures for this year... And not anything like May (luckily!)
Shophearts: 1181 which is 89 more as last month :)

My total sales on Etsy is now 282 ^_^ The original number for completed sales through Etsy. Just 18 more for my years target!! :D IF the numbers keep up as the rest of the year I should reached that this month. Fingers crossed!

There are lots of new items to list. I did however think that I might already have TOO much in my shop so I won't be adding them like crazy. If something sells, or expires, I will list something new and maybe a bit more. But I don't want to increase the number of items for sale too much again.
